Hyderabad, India: The Central Board of Secondary Education and Microsoft India have partnered to digitally encrypt questions papers for Class X and Class XII. The solution was successfully tested as a pilot project in the recently held Class X compartmental examinations, across 487 examination centers with approximately 4,000 students.
The entire question paper distribution can be tracked by the Controller of Examination through the software solution. The overall process is made highly secure with two factor authentication and the question papers can be downloaded in the exam halls only 30 mins before the exam. Each question paper has a watermark of the centers code. Once the question paper distribution is initiated by the controller, each center received an email alert with link to download the question paper as PDF file.

I am confident we are well on the way towards a digitally empowered education ecosystem.” said Anil Bhansali, Corporate Vice President, Cloud & Enterprise, Managing Director, Microsoft India (R&D) Private Limited said
Widespread adoption of this solution can transform the education sector and essentially change the way students in India take their exams.
